GLTF Winter Tennis Academy - 3.0 & 3.5 Tennis Camp

What is it: 6-hours with 6 different drills offered by 3 local Tennis Pros.

Perfect for:  USTA 3.0 to 3.5 rated Men & Women

Instructors:  Tim Connolly, Steven Williams and Douglas Hochmuth

Date & Times: Sunday - March 24 from 9am – 3:30pm @ SF State

Cost:  $90 for GLTF members and $120 for non GLTF members. 

Limit 24 people.  

There is a maximum of 8 people per court and you will work with each instructor twice for 6 different one hour drills.  Drills will focus on specific strokes and singles & doubles positioning, techniques and strategies. Tennis Camp is all about drills and repetition.

Douglas Hochmuth:

Doug has spent ⅓ of his life as a tennis professional. Working under former NorCal USPTA president John Sharpe, Doug is based out of the historic and beautiful Davie Tennis Stadium in Oakland. Areas of focus include doubles strategy, singles court positioning and footwork, and the modern one-handed backhand. Having spent two years playing college tennis in Oregon, Doug graduated with a degree in English and is now the Managing Editor at Inside Tennis Magazine.
