Divisions and Events
We’ll follow GLTA division guidelines. If Women's events do not fill then players may choose the corresponding men's event at same level or one level lower.
Players are allowed to play in different divisions for singles and doubles if their GLTA rankings allow. The two divisions must not be more than one level away from each other (e.g., a player may not play A singles and C doubles).
The seeds for each event will be determined by each player's current GLTA tournament entry points for singles and by the sum of the player's points for doubles.
The GLTA tournament match format is the standard two-out-of-three set match, with 7-point tiebreaks to be played at 6 games all in any set. However, these rules are subject to change in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen events, at the discretion of the Tournament Director. World Team Tennis format is unique and will be explained at the Tournament. Please refer to the GLTA tournament rules for complete details.
Consolation rounds will be offered to all singles and doubles events that are single-elimination, available to first-match losers. The format will be 8-game pro-sets with a regular 7 point tiebreak at 8-all. Consolation Finals will follow the main draw format.
