Come to our April Fools Social Tennis Party at SF State!

Are you fairly new to tennis? Join us at our GLTF Social Tennis Party at SF State on Saturday, April 1st. Pizza will be served!

Co-sponsored by our friends at USTA Norcal, this party is a great way for new Beginners & Advanced Beginners (USTA rated 2.5 & 3.0 level) to get to know GLTF, learn more about USTA and perhaps join one of our teams. We will have a number of courts for over two hours of social doubles tennis along with pizza and drinks.  If you are a current GLTF member, you are invited to join us if you bring along a non-GLTF friend.

What you’ll need:
- layered clothes, it can get cold
- tennis racket
- a can of new tennis balls

If you are interested in playing on a 2.5 or 3.0 USTA Men team, we will have captains on hand to recruit players.  For the Women's team, we are currently offering a 3.0 team only.  There will be board members, captains and seasoned GLTF members on hand to answer all your questions.  A USTA representative will also be on hand!

When:  Saturday April 1 from 3pm to 5pm-ish

Where:  San Francisco State Tennis Courts.  The courts are located near Maloney Field at the corner of Lake Merced Boulevard and State Drive. The courts are down a hill from the street, so you cannot see them from any of the roads. There is street parking as well as a parking garage at the end of State Drive. You can use the SFSU map for parking information, and a Google map for directions.

Cost:  FREE!  We ask that you donate your used can of tennis balls to GLTF for our Beginners Tennis Program.

No RSVP required. (However, if you register for this event, even if you cannot make it, we will automatically have you as a contact in our system and will include you on mailings for our newsletter. You can unsubscribe any time.)

The GLTF welcomes all people 18 years or older regardless of sexual identity or preferences.
